My boyfriend is taking Avodart to treat an enlarged prostate. It’s effected his libido and erectile abilities. We’re having a problem connecting in the intimacy arena of our relationship. He doesn’t seem to understand that my needs haven’t changed, while his has. In order to save our relationship, I thought I would get some feedback on how to deal with this issue. Thank you.

instead of wasting time on here, talk to him openly and honestly. discuss your needs and see if he is willing to help. have him use toys, oral, fingers, cucumbers, whatever it takes to help satisfy you. also MAKE him go back to his doctor and explain FULLY the side effects he is having. maybe they can prescribe viagra to help in the e.d. area or change meds for the enlarged prostate. if you were truly in love with each other, this short term situation shouldnt be a problem to endure. be open and have him use things to satisfy you in the mean time! good luck!!!
